Player Name: Lane
Character Name: Trent Allvetore
Gender: Male
Age: 40
Physical Description: Trent is considered to be slightly on the tall side and with a lanky build. He is a bit awkward on his feet, clumsy and at times, seems very unaware of his surroundings.
Trent has slightly shaggy blond hair which ends before his collar, and dark blue eyes. His face appears to still be a bit on the boyish side. His cheek bones are high and he has a indistinct jawline.
Personality: Trent has a relatively relaxed demeanor, is the last to crack under stress, and considered by most to be a friendly person. At times he can be a bit of inwardly focused and he has a habit of getting distracted easily.
Trent has always related well to people, and this lead him to seek out a career in Command. He is very brilliant if at times a bit unfocused compared to other doctors. Trent does have it in himself to be serious though, and is described as compassionate and caring.
Department: Command
Rank: Captain
History: Trent was born in Virginia to Allen and Cathy Allvetore on March 25. Trent's parents were well educated, his father a senator, his mother a well known biologist. As they raised Trent they taught him the value of hard work and education. Trent's family moved from California when he was age 3 to Virgina where his father got elected to be a Senator.
Trent was educated at private schools where he did well, near the top of his classes. However, every summer he was sent to the family's country farm to do work. Trent actually enjoyed the break from the city, and all the pressures to do something with his hands.
When Trent turned 18 he tested into Starfleet with top marks. He did well in Starfleet impressing most of his teachers, and making a few friends. After graduation, he got a position aboard Deep Space Nine as Chief of Security.
Trent excelled in this position. However, things got grim. A Romulan attack on the ship left it crippled, but with the quick thinking of Trent, and a rigged detachment of a section he crippled the enemy ships and saved the station from sure destruction.
Starfleet impressed with Trent's years of service, and action of saving Deep Nine, and needing a Captain appointed Trent to lead the new Enterprise. Trent now is eager to get on his way and explore the Galaxy.
Role-playing Sample:Trent took a deep breath as he scanned his patient started coding. He always took a deep breath before he re-assessed the situation. that momentary second of reprieve is all he needed. He began turning to the nursing staff, asking for the medicine he needed, the clearing of the patient's airway. He took the tricorder and made quick assessments.
"Let's get that BP stabilized guys." he calmly said to his staff, as he injected the young man with chemicals to force a restart of his heart.
"Doctor, BP is stabilizing." a young nurse said. Trent smiled inwardly, the man had been close to death for day, poisoned, something nasty by the looks of it. He would need a follow up from Security, the agent could have been leaked into the ship by some means.
"Keep me posted, we need a bi-hourly assessment of his vitals. I need to speak with Security." He walked briskly from the Sick Bay and went to find an old friend.
